For the up and coming 7 July 2007, D.A.R.E. Pre-Service activity,
instead of having individual groups to work on a specific design for
graffiti, we would like to take this opportunity for a special DG
bonding time! :-)

The theme for the Pre-Service is: DARE to Express!

Project: To think green, using recycled and free-of-charge materials to
create an identity for D.A.R.E.

To create the D.A.R.E. identity, all DGs should bring their own:-

1. Newspapers (4 stacks for protecting the carpet while working on
DARE identity)
2. Newspapers (for design)
3. Magazines (stacks of them!)
4. Coloured paper
5. Scissors (at least 3)
6. Pen knife
7. Ruler
8. Etc...Note no spraying of anything is allowed...

The list of items to bring is up to your DG's creativity & imagination.
:-)

At 2pm, the pre-service team will be distributing the following
materials to each of the 16 DGs at the red couch area on the 6th floor:-

1. Carton box (x 1) (Designs should be done on the flattened carton
box)
2. Double sided tape (x 1)
3. White glue (x 1)

At 2.45pm, all DGs are to clean up and submit their designs to the
pre-service team at the red couch area on the 6th floor. All designed
pieces will be exhibited around the 6th floor area. Bring your cameras
to take photos with your DG and your wonderful artwork!

The judging criteria will be based on:-

1. Creativity
2. Originality
3. Thinking green
4. Connection to theme
5. Team work

Results will be announced at the end of the service. =)
